Home Sweet Home

I absolutely love all my neighbors.  I love the addition we live in.  I love the area where we live.  Far enough away, but close enough to everything all the good shopping centers.  And I am so glad that we have new

neighbors that moved in a few days ago to the house right next to ours.  And so I thought I would make them a “Welcome to the neighborhood” gift.  And of course it involved desserts.  Pumpkin cookies with butterscotch or chocolate chips.  And they have a surprise ingredient:  oatmeal.   Plus the ultra swanky popular Oreo cheesecake pretzel bites.  And I packaged them all up cute, in a container they can keep, with labels and a bow.

Welcome gift

What I am not so happy about is the house that is going to be built right behind us.  They put up this barrier today.  The house that one day will be there is totally going to block our gorgeous sunrise views.  But I will be happy when I have another set of friendly new neighbors!

About TheSceneFromMe

Wife, Foodie, Traveler, Shopaholic. I am a thirty-something tactfully-opinionated nurse living in the Midwest. I believe shopping counts as cardio, tea cannot be too sweet, anything orange (and sparkly!) can cure a bad mood, and no one can have enough clothes, accessories or shoes. I love to bake, indulge in celebrity gossip, cupcakes, reality tv, photography, travel anywhere new or places that I've already graced, spend time with my family and live life the way I am meant to. I am in love with my iPhone, husband and 2 wrinkly shar-peis. Join me on the journey of my candy coated life. Fasten your seatbelts! This is the scene from ME!
