It’s beginning to look alot like Christmas, ev’ry where you go…including my home! Yes friends, I committed the crime. I decorated before the Thanksgiving holiday. And I do it every year. I guess because the thought of it overwhelms me and I am not a procrastinator. I am always early and this is no exception. So I’ve spent this cold day in the midwest detailing my house with Christmas decor.

Dustin is putting together the train track that goes around the bottom of the tree. Can’t wait to see how Journey and Ripley react to that!
I also decorated the staircases with red bead, just to give it that extra touch
I got these 16-point (I think 16) stars from Pottery Barn. And hung them up on our drop crown molding using clear string. They are completely gliterized and glisten in the light!
Thru the years I have collected and been given alot of Christmas angels, snowmen, trees and all around holiday decor. But as I mentioned earlier, I don’t like trinkets and clutter crowding my spaces. So alot of stuff I don’t display anymore. That, and my taste in decorating has changed since I got my first home. So I just put out what I really love and what goes with my modern-type house now.
Glad to have the decorating done. It seems to have lifted a weight off my shoulders…atleast for the next 6-7 weeks until I have to put it all away!
Happy Decorating to you and your family! The holidays are upon us, ready or not!
Oh! I love all the decorations! : ) I don’t think you can ever have enough!!!
