Were you graced by some real turkey’s on Thanksgiving day like this?
They kept walking around and around the house. Don’t they know what day it is? You betta watch yo’backs turkeys! But we already had our bird in the oven. LOL!
So thankful for my Mom, Dad and brother.
And thankful for the FEAST we were provided with.
I just love “kitchen sink” talks with my precious Mom! I don’t think I left the kitchen in the 27 hours that I spent at home, except to sleep! That kitchen is the heart of her home for sure!
Just when we thought we couldn’t stuff any more food in our tummies…the desserts rolled out! And everyone suddenly found room in the pit of their stomachs to partake, of course, why not, it’s Thanksgiving!
Needless to say we were pot-bellied stuffed and satisfied after this day of feasting. So thankful that I got to spend the day with all the ones I love.
How do you feel about Thanksgiving only coming around one time a year? How would you feel if we had a holiday like this every other month or more?
I wanna know what all these delicious desserts are, especially the one you’re holding?!
The dessert I am holding is some easy peazy boxed brownies and I swirled some whipped chocolate frosting on top!
Our array of desserts included pumpkin pie, cherry pie, pecan pie, mincemeat pie, parmesan crusted chickpeas, cranberry orange chex mix, traditional chex mix, carmel apple toffee dip (post coming…) and the traditional brownies for the picky eater in our family. Deliciousness!!!
LOVE the wild turkeys!! + the awesome dessert spread!!
It’s like the turkey knew it was Thanksgiving and just wanted to make an appearance, ha!
