Just pop’em in your mouth and savor the sweet minty flavor, sure to please your tastebuds!
Creme de menthe is an essential way to dress up your holiday treats! These poppers are quick and easy to make. No baking required! No having to heat up the oven and best of all, no silverware required to eat them. Just grab and munch!
Creme de Menthe Oreo Poppers
-
1 pkg. mint flavored Oreo cookies
-
1-8oz. pkg. cream cheese
-
Chocolate for drizzling
-
1 pkg. Andes Creme de Menth baking pieces
-
1 bag of mini waffle shaped pretzels
Allow cream cheese to stand at room temperature for 15 min. In the meantime, in large food processor: place all Oreos and pulse until finely chopped. If you don’t have a food processor you can place all the Oreos in a big baggie and crush with a rolling pin.
In a large mixing bowl combine cream cheese and Oreo cookie crumbles. Stir until thoroughly mixed and no crumbs are left.
On large baking sheet line the pretzels up in rows 1 inch apart.
Form 3/4 inch balls out of the Oreo mixtures and place one on top of each pretzel.
Top with another pretzel, making a sandwhich until you have used all of the Oreo mixture. You will have leftover pretzels in the bag.
Melt your chocolate in a baggie, just enough for drizzling. Cut a small corner off of the baggie and drizzle the top of the poppers with chocolate.
Sprinkle with Andes creme de menthe pieces while chocolate is still soft. Allow the chocolate to harden.
Store in refrigerator for up to 1 week.
Pop’em in your mouth and ENJOY!

As a kid I always liked Andes after dinner mints as they were served at a few of my favorite restaurants. I am so pleased to have created this tasty lil, bite size, crunchy, sweet, minty, with a hint of salty flavor, popper for you!
