When trying to plan the menu for a big party I knew I wanted to do something in my crock pot. I searched for recipes, but in the end just came up with my own.
I think this was a big hit, especially with the guys in the crowd. This would be something good to make for a Superbowl party or a poker party too.
Shredded BBQ Beef
3 Lbs. London broil beef
1 Onion
1 tsp. Worcestershire seasoning powder
2 bottles of BBQ sauce, your choice of flavor

Cut up beef into smaller chunks. I made mine approximately 3×3 inch pieces, making sure to cut off all excess fatty areas.
Dice up onion and place all ingredients in crock pot.
Cook on low for 7-8 hours or until beef is done and no longer pink in the middle.
Remove beef from crockpot, allow to cool.
Shred beef into smaller bite size pieces. The liquids left in the crock pot may be too much, so you may have to get rid of some of it before adding back in the beef. Stir beef in with the bbq sauce and allow to stay warm while serving.
Serve on hoagie buns or mini slider buns.
Beef is so versatile and easy to prepare, especially in the crock pot. Just put everything in together and walk away.
It couldn’t be simpler.
I hope you can enjoy a warm and hearty meal from a crockpot this winter.
Enjoy~

The incredible edible egg! Egg McMuffins in the house! Our Christmas morning breakfast included these bad boys. And also some crescent cranberry wreaths which I’ll share in a later post 🙂
My mom makes the best egg mcmuffins! It’s kinda a tradition to have these on Christmas morning at her house. Toasted and buttered english muffin topped with a slice of colby jack cheese, a fried hard egg and a piece of Canadian bacon. And I then add some bbq sauce to mine. They are delicious!

What is your favorite crock pot meal?
Do you and your family have a traditional Christmas morning meal?
I need to X out of this screen IMMEDIATELY before the Husband sees it and asks why I don’t make him food like that.
Ha Chelsey! We don’t eat like that everyday either 🙂
Oh the little eggies look so pretty! I love it!
Ha, I was snapping pics as my Mom was cooking the eggs!
That meat just looks tantalizing! You are smart to use a crock pot for a large gathering – that’s one of my favorite methods of cooking. I love making barbecue flavored pulled pork in the crock pot but I’m also a huge fan of making shredded pork with lots of Mexican seasonings to use with tacos. Crock pots are the BEST!
Oh, I love your idea of shredded pork with mexican seasonings for tacos. We would love that meal too!
HAHAHAHA! I love chesley’s comment! and I agree!
The funny/ good thing is I have that exact bottle of BBQ sauce in our pantry not even opened I bought about a month ago!
Now I can use it! 🙂
I always say that ! I need to make a “want” recipe journal for all the foods I got to make!
I need a want journal too because I just have stacks of recipes sitting on the shelves of my pantry that I want to make!
Have fun using up your bbq sauce!
Those all look delicious!! I wish I had a favorite crock pot recipe…but I just bought my crock pot so I hope to have one soon 🙂

Good luck making crock pot meals!
I cannot even pick a favorite crock pot meal! They’re all so delicious! Maybe a pulled pork? Of a homestyle soup or stew? Your BBQ beef looks to-die-for! I just can’t get enough!
Ha ha, thank you!
I was at Target and saw that little crock pots are only 20 dollars! I’m definitely going to get one when I move out.
Meals in them are easy! And if you get the crock pot liners, clean up is a cinch!
Loving the Pepperoni Pull! I make pepperoni rolls all the time but could definitely use a loaf of it, I am definitely going to try this sometime!
I like making chicken in the crock with bbq or wing sauce so it is easy to pull once done or rump roast with beer, onions, celery, carrots and herbs.
That sounds good too!
These all sound so simple and delicious, I love the sound of the pepperoni pizza pull!
And they were simple and delicious!
Love that picture! is it sand on a pole? or snow? (sorry I’m clueless)
would you believe I have zero crock-pot recipe knowledge. I don’t think I have had any slow-cooker food!
Oh, that is frost on the pole and I just wrote on it! Girl, crock pot meals are so easy, I hope you get to make one soon!
My favorite crock-pot meal is Teriyaki chicken, but I’m anxious to try your BBQ beef. It might just be my next new favorite! Love, Paula
Good, let me know if you like it when you try it!
